Subsequently, as per the State Government's notification, al Agri Markets were shifted from Masjid Bunder, Mumbai to A.P.M.C Market, Navi Mumbai , in order to reduce congestion & pollution in and around Masjid Bander & South Mumbai. RENAMING OF ASSOCIATION:- In the year 1998, the previous name of the Association was changed and renamed to "THE BOMBAY DRY FRUITS & DATES ASSOCIATION" as per the State Government's Order No.NTC 1596/463(92)/Dt. 4th may 1998.
